Product Brief: Vitamin C intake through the diet is essential to human health, as our bodies are

not able to produce this important vitamin. The benefits of Vitamin C are many. It is vital in the

production of collagen, which is the human bodyÕs main protein substance that works to maintain

our connective tissue, cartilage, gums and tendons. Vitamin C also acts as an antioxidant in helping

to prevent major ailments such as cancer and heart-related diseases and boosts the immune system

against colds, infections and allergies.

Health First Vitamin C is in a timed-release formula. Because Vitamin C is water-soluble, it passes

quickly through the body. In a timed-release form, the Vitamin C is slowly released over a 6-8 hour

period, making the benefits of Vitamin C available to the body over a longer period of time than

regular Vitamin C supplements.
